x360a Review: Overlord II

x360a Review: Overlord II
Written Friday, July 03, 2009 by Dan Webb

Different people have different perceptions on what they class as "evil" in this day and age. It's a pretty common word applied to many different things in everyday life, some obviously more drastic and appauling than others. For example, many people (read, me) think that Kevin Costner's Waterworld was pure evil, but compared to Freddie Prince Jnr's casting in the new series of 24, it looks pretty tame in comparison. That is of course unless Jack Bauer gets to torture him ... then I'm happy.

Codemasters' latest Overlord title lets you choose whether you want to be evil (like Waterworld), or super evil (like the FPJ casting in 24), as you set off on an adventure to club seals and punch pandas. Will Overlord II have the moxy to stand up and be counted like its prequel? Or is it destined to be evil cash-in?

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
